THE Doors frontman Jim Morrison appears to be back from the dead — in a garage door dent.
The People Are Strange star’s shadowy image terrified Neil Byrne and his two kids.
Construction boss Neil, 51, caused the damage with his van’s towbar when reversing in the dark.
He started noticing Lizard King Morrison staring back when pulling into the drive at night.
Neil, from Birmingham, said: “It’s almost like the ghost of Jim Morrison came to haunt The Doors.
“It really creeped me out at first. I had no idea what it could be.
“It wasn’t until I got a bit closer with the headlights that I realised it was a dent.”
Neil’s son Harry, 12, and daughter Avani, eight, have also joked that the mark looks like their uncle Dave Pickersgill, 56.
Florida-born hellraiser Morrison was one of the world’s biggest stars in the late 1960s and early 1970s thanks to hits such as Light My Fire, Break On Through and Riders on the Storm.
A heavy drug user, he was found dead in his Paris bathtub aged 27 in 1971, after suffering an apparent heart attack.
However, mystery still surrounds his death since no post-mortem was performed.
